Crime figures for this month

Littleborough  

A 26-year-old male from the Rochdale East Area has been arrested and charged on suspicion of two burglaries that were committed in July and early August after his fingerprints that were recovered at the scene.  He has been remanded in custody pending his court hearing.

Between 22:00 18 August and 03:50 19 August. Offender/s approach front of property. Use unknown implement to force open Yale lock in slightly bowed door. Enter through hallway into living room and dining room,stealing items close to hand. Exit as per entry stealing motor vehicle parked to side of premises using keys. Make off towards Rochdale.

Whitelees Road between 20 August at 21:00 and 21 August at 18:20. Offender/s have tampered with the window to gain entry into a property. However entry into the property has not been gained.

Trefoil Way, 19 August at 04:10. Unknown offender has forced the rear garage window and then removed items from the garage. Offender is alerted by the house alarm and makes off with no property stolen.

Ashbourne Close, between 13 August at 21:00 and 14 August at 11:30. Informants have found that the neighbour's house has been burgled and ransacked. There were expletives spray painted on the path and on the windows and the inside of the walls. 

Ramsden Road, between 6 August at 10:00 and 7 August at 04:10. Upon returning to his property, victim discovers that his front door is unlocked, once inside the property the victim finds that offenders have made an untidy search of the rooms and stolen property from within.

Barton Street, between 2 August at 09:00 and 3 August at 00:50. Offenders enter the property by smashing a glass patio door to gain entry, once inside the property they steal property from within.

Between 11:15 4 August and 11:00 6 August – Pioneer Court. Unknown offender/s approach first floor flat via communal hallway. Offender/s force front door open by unknown means and gain entry to the premises. Offender/s remove items of furniture from inside the living room and then exit as per entry point and make off unseen in an unknown direction. 

7 August between 09:00 and 18:50 – Wildhouse Lane. Unknown offender(s) approach premises from the field at the rear of the house. Climb over wall and make way to rear door of the premises. Kick open door and enter premises. Approach internal wooden door and kick same open allowing entry to the kitchen. Conduct an untidy search of the premises and steal items from within. Unlock side door using key left in the lock and exit via same making good escape from the scene via the field at the rear of the premises. 

8 August 08:00 – Albert Street. Offender is known to victim. 

9 August 00:10 – 01:10 – Major Street. Offender/s gain access into victim's property by unknown means carry out tidy search of downstairs of premises and remove items from within. Offender/s make off via rear conservatory door using keys which had been left in the property then exit via adjoining gardens towards an alley gate at the end of the street making off in unknown direction. 

20 August 01:55 – 02:00 – Newfield View. Offender approaches front door which is unlocked. Pushes open door taking keys from the inside door lock. Makes off a short distance to parked motor vehicle. Enters into vehicle with keys, making off to the top of road making good escape. 

Between 17:00 28 August and 08:45 30 August – Haugh Lane. Unknown offender approaches semi detached bungalow along driveway at the side of the house uses unknown tool to loosen plastic panel in the side door before forcing the panel open. Offender enters the property into the kitchen and carries out a search of the drawers and cupboards in the rooms through the bungalow. Steals property before leaving via point of entry and make off in unknown direction. 

Between 11:00 29 August and 10:20 30 August – Haugh Lane. Unknown offender(s) approach premises from unknown direction. Make way to front of address and use wheelie bin to climb over wall to enter rear garden. Use unknown implement to smash rear ground floor conservatory window and enter premises. Use unknown means to force open wooden double doors into kitchen and conduct a tidy search of the premises stealing items from within. Exit as entry and approach detached garage at the rear of the premises. Use key stolen from the house to enter garage and steal items from within. Offender/s make good escape from the scene in unknown direction.

Jones Way, 25 August between 11:30 and 21:10. Offender has used an unknown implement in an attempt to force open a patio door. Whilst the patio door was cracked, entry was not gained.

Turf Hill Road, 25 August at 13:22. Four pffenders have used an unknown implement to prise open a upvc door causing damage. They entered the premises and are disturbed by the victim. Offenders make off.

Delamere Road, between the 23 August at 07:30 and the 25 August at 20:00. Unknown offender entered the premises through an insecure ground floor kitchen window. The offenders searched the property, however nothing is stolen.

Turf Hill Road, on the 19 August between 13:00 and 14:00. Offenders forced open a ground floor kitchen window using an unknown implement to gain entry. Whilst inside the offenders stole property including jewellery and computer equipment.

Prince Street on the 08 August between 19:45 and 22:45. Offender/s gain entry to property by damaging the ground floor door. Once inside the property offenders steal jewellery.

Waithlands Road, between 25 August at 19:00 and  26 August at 00:35. Offender/s have gained entry to the property by damaging a ground floor door. Once inside, the offenders stole computer equipment.

Waithlands Road, 15 August between18:30 and 20:20. Offenders gained entry to the premises by smashing a kitchen window. They stole cash and computer equipment.

David Lewis Close, between 06 August at 19:00 and 22 August at 10:24. An offender used an unknown implement to damage the door to gain entry to a premises and steal electrical equipment.

Palatine Street, between 23 August at 11:30 and 24 August at 00:15. Offenders used an implement to smash a ground floor kitchen window to gain entry and stole money.

Bingley Road, on the 07 August between 12:00 and 20:00. Offender/s gain entry to property by smashing rear kitchen window and stole money.

Milnrow Road, on the 05 August between 11:30 and 16:00. Offender used an unknown implement to force open the door to gain entry to a property, however no property was stolen.

Beswicke Royds Street, 17 August at 19:30. Offenders use unknown implement to gain entry to a property. The offenders are then possibly disturbed as they do not enter the property.

Eclipse Close, 04 August at 11:30. Male offender posing as a workman knocked on the victim’s door stating that he needs work undertaking on his property. Whilst distracting the victim, other(s) have searched the house and stole money.
