Due to the nature and duration of the event it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.

Traffic control Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles on the following streets to facilitate the safe holding of the Heywood Charities Fete Parade:

  • Sefton Street – for its entire length,
  • Manchester Street – for its entire length,
  • Church Street – from its junction with Manchester Street to its junction with Hartley Street,
  • Hartley Street – for its entire length,
  • York Street – from its junction with Hartley Street to its junction with Queens Park Road,
  • Queens Park Road – from its junction with York Street to Queens Park.
