Date published: 10 June 2008
A bus driver who was over the legal alcohol limit has been charged and will appear at Rochdale Magistrates' Court later this month.
David Rutter, 34, of Ainsbrook Avenue, Blackley, crashed into several parked cars in Middleton on 14 February this year. He failed to stop at the scene of the collision and did not report the incident.
Several cars parked on Grimshaw Lane were damaged by the bus.
Rutter will appear before magistrates on 20 June.
