Man shot in Middleton

At around 4.15pm yesterday, Friday 6 June, police were called to an address on Barleyfield Walk, Middleton, following reports a man had been shot in the back.
Officers attended and discovered an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back and a head injury. It is thought the man made his way to the address after being shot nearby.
He was taken to hospital where he is currently being treated. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Inquiries are continuing.
