Littleborough Arts Festival opened on Friday 22 August and was attended by special guests, Nik and Eva Speakman and Rochdale’s Mayor and Mayoress.
Richard Cafiero, from Littleborough Arts Festival committee, said: “The opening was wonderful. We had a great turn out for the event.
“We’ve had a number of events and workshops going on since the festival began on Friday, and many familiar faces seem to be returning to the festival this year.
“The quality of work displayed this year is exceptional.
"Yesterday (Monday 25 August), the play ‘A Parson’s Tale’ was on at Littleborough Trades Club and it was very well received.
“We’re currently building up to our big evening concert on Thursday at St Barnabas Church where Rochdale Rock Choir will be playing.”
On Saturday, a craft fair will be held at the Coach House, joined by Littleborough Brass Band in the afternoon.
The festival will run to 31 August.
