It has been confirmed that a flag raising will take place to mark Saint George’s Day on Wednesday 23 April.
The flag will be raised at Rochdale Town Hall at 10.00am by the Mayor of Rochdale Peter Rush.
This will follow on from similar events to have already taken place this year, including the raising of the Irish flag for Saint Patrick’s Day and the raising of the Pakistan flag to mark Pakistan Day.
