Five-a-side tournament at Falinge Park High School

Heybrook 5-a-side team
Heybrook participated in the annual Rochdale Borough 5-a-side tournament which was held at Falinge Park High School.
The children involved were Year 5 and 6 pupils Almas, Kaif Anees, Daanish, Hammad, Ali Hussain and Ali-Ahbab.
There were 5 teams in total, Heybrook, Healey, Shawclough, All Saints and Meanwood. Each team had to play 4 matches with all the games lasting a total of 6 minutes.
Heybrook won every match convincingly with a total of 13 goals scored and only 2 conceded.
“All the other schools were impressed not just with Heybrook's victory but with the manner of how we won and the attitude of the boys” said Heybrook coaches Mr Finnegan and Mr Hussain.
