Students, parents and teachers at the Pathways Open Evening at Siddal Moor
Students from Year 9 and their parents were invited to attend a Pathways Open Evening at Siddal Moor recently.
Students and parents were able to see what examination courses were on offer in Year 10 and 11.
Teachers were on hand to discuss choices and course content to help them to make informed decisions about the courses they might like to follow.
Representatives from local colleges were also on hand to discuss the different types of courses they offer and the entry requirements needed in order to gain a place.
The evening was very well attended and showed strong relationships between all students, parents and the school with over 90% of students and parents attending.
Students and parents will soon begin the process of choosing options and courses.
