Heybrook ‘Lego Techz’

Date published: 17 December 2013

Heybrook County Primary School  ‘Lego Techz’ Nadeem Khan, Ali Ahbab, Daanish Mehboob, Dua Zahra Shah, Humairah Khan, and Amina Begum demonstrated their science and technology skills at the First Lego League (FLL) regional tournament on the 6 December.

Teams from 15 schools competed against each other at the Rochdale CLC in Middleton.

Heybrook ‘Lego Techz’ were worthy runners up with only a couple of points separating them from this year’s winners Hollingworth High!

They had to programme a robot and use it to solve problems and tasks.

They were judged on their ability to build and programme the robot, their presentation and research skills for this years topic ‘Natures Fury’ and how well they co-operate with each other and their competitors.

They were given the Judges Award for the most consistent team across all areas.

A huge well done to our Lego Techz.
