Bin collection dates for the festive period
Some bin collection days over Christmas and New Year will change.
Councillor Jacqui Beswick, Rochdale Council Portfolio Holder for Place and Regulation said: “Crews will be working hard over the festive period to provide a service. If we experience severe weather during this period, I would ask residents to check the council website for regular updates”.
Residents with a collection due on:
- Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day) will now be collected on Saturday 28 December
- Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day) will be collected on Monday 30 December
- Wednesday 1 January (New Year’s Day) will be collected on Saturday 4 January
- All other collection days will remain the same.
