Hamer Community Primary School
All parents are invited to a briefing on Monday 18 November at 9.00am at school. Following the questionnaires that were sent earlier this term, Mr. Khan has considered your feedback in his work with the website design company and we have incorporated your ideas into the design of our new website. This is the opportunity to find out how you can continue to support your child at home and of course all about what is happening at Hamer Primary School.
Thank you to all who attended the recent Robinwood parents meeting. As you know this is a superb opportunity for children to continue their learning in another different environment. The cost of the visit to the Robinwood Activity Centre in Cumbria is very heavily subsidised by the school, however, as you know you are very welcome to pay the cost by instalments. Please can we ask that you send your £10.00 deposit as soon as possible. If you should you have any further queries please contact a member of staff at school.
Our friends from Marland Hill visited us again this week for another thought provoking community cohesion session. Our eight Year 6 Community Cohesion Ambassadors really are a credit to our school community – particularly in the way that they are interacting and developing relationships and friendships with children from a different school community.
Next week students from Rochdale College will also be joining us. We are all really looking forward to this opportunity for further collaboration.
Thank you so much for supporting Children in Need by sending your child to school in something spotty, the contributions so far have raised £119.00. Once again we thank parents, families and our children for the support for others less fortunate than ourselves.
The donations from the Bags 2 School project raised £200.00. Thank you for all your support.
We ask all parents to please ensure that any adult (over 18) that picks your child up from school is on your child’s contact form. Should you wish to add an adult into a contact form, please do so via the school office.
Children will not be released to an adult whose details are not on the contact form. Please work with us to ensure that all of our children are kept safe. Thank you.
