Some of our 3rd year students are on the Real Work Supported Internship Project based at Rochdale Infirmary. Every week we will do a profile on each Intern to let you know how they are getting on in their jobs.

Name of Intern: Sophie Wrigley

1st Rotation Placement: Café Aroma in the Rochdale Infirmary

Job role – My jobs include preparation of food, serving and processing customers orders and restocking of fridges.

Colleague comments: “Sophie is doing exceptionally well; she is now taking orders and delivering them to the customers. She loves shouting out the orders. Her cleaning skills are out of this world even though it’s a task she isn’t fond of.”

Sophie’s comments: “I love the internship programme and my job at the café. All the staff are really friendly and helpful.”

Student Council elections
