Support the NSPCC and get a will written by a qualified solicitor as part of Will Aid’s 25th anniversary
Date published: 11 October 2013
The NSPCC is calling on people from Rochdale to get their will written up while supporting a good cause. Every November, participating solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic will and invite clients to make a donation to Will Aid instead, supporting nine UK charities including the NSPCC.
Last year, the NSPCC received nearly a quarter of a million pounds in donations made to Will Aid. And much more was promised by people who kindly chose to include the children’s charity in their wills, through the scheme which is celebrating its 25th birthday.
To find a Will Aid solicitor near you, simply visit www.willaid.org.uk, call the helpline on 0300 0300 013 or email enquiries@willaid.org.uk
The suggested donation is £90 for a single basic will and £135 for a pair of basic matching or mirror wills.
Although the Will Aid campaign takes place in November, bookings are being taken now and appointments get filled quickly, so be sure to book as early as possible.
