Higher education students graduate in style

Date published: 30 September 2013

Students from Hopwood Hall College’s higher education (HE) courses enjoyed a glittering graduation ceremony at Rochdale Town Hall on Thursday 26 September.

A live musical performance, provided by  Rochdale Music Service, greeted the students and their friends and family who had come to watch with pride as their loved ones graduated.

Special guests at the event included the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, Councillor Peter Rush and his wife Monica.

This year’s event was "extra special" as it marked the 21st year of higher education programmes at the College.

Derek O’Toole, Principal of Hopwood Hall College commented: “We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students with graduation nights like this. We are delighted every year to see so many of our students succeed in their studies and I’m very pleased to have been able to see them graduate and wish them all the best for the future.”
