Community groups shortlisted for grants

The 2013 Lloyds Bank Community Fund helps local people to have a positive impact at the heart of their communities by giving grants to four good causes in each community and Rochdale four community groups have been shortlisted: 

• Sportsman and Social Development (SSDE) 
• St Edward's
• St Michael's Uniformed Groups
• St Michael's PTFA

Voting is now open to the public online, by SMS text message and by visiting a local Lloyds Bank branch. The number of votes cast in each community will decide how the Community Fund awards will be allocated. In each community, the two good causes with the most votes will each receive £3,000, with the other two receiving awards of £300 each.

Earlier this year, Lloyds Bank staff nominated over 4,500 community groups and worked together to shortlist the final 1,300 local good causes in over 300 communities across England and Wales.

Community Fund 2013 voting is now open until 11:59pm on 1 November 2013.
