Ashcroft over 55s retirement scheme, which is based at Braddocks Close, Rochdale, hosted a cake and coffee afternoon with nurses of the Macmillan cancer support team on Friday 27 September.
The refreshments stall was supported by residents and nurses who baked cakes and provided refreshments.
Members of the public, residents and relatives attended the event and raised an impressive £160 for the charity.
Suzie Ross scheme manager said: “We were privileged and happy to support this event. It was a very pleasant afternoon and I am very pleased with the money raised for such a good cause.”
