Town centre pedestrian routes during on-going works
Date published: 30 September 2013
Town centre pedestrian routes
The on-going work in the town centre is inevitably causing disruption, particularly along Smith Street and around Number One Riverside where work is taking place to improve roads and install new paving.
The map provides information on footpath routes affected by the on-going works.
The existing pedestrian routes through the Municipal Offices, bus station and the overhead bridge links will be closed in the next few months to allow demolition work to commence. Alternative pedestrian routes along Smith Street, and between Number One Riverside and the town centre, will remain open during the works.
NOTE: Some small scale and short term footpath closures needed to accommodate localised work may not appear on this map. Please note that the information may be subject to change at short notice.
