Ellenroad Engine House first ever classic car show

Ellenroad Engine House will be holding their first ever classic car show and are looking for people to exhibit on the day.

On Sunday 6 October the engine house will be playing host to the event which will showcase classic and vintage vehicles.

Anyone wishing to exhibit at the event should contact the engine house and should indicate their likely attendance and make of vehicle.

As well as the car show, the engine house will be holding their usual programme of steaming times and a performance from Saddleworth Clog and Garland dancers will be in the main hall.

The engine house café will also be providing a range of sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks and parking is free to all.

Ellenroad Engine House is home to The World’s Largest Working Steam Mille Engines – Victoria and Alexandra – which are still housed in their original locations.
