Busy week for local criminals

GMP Rochdale East has revealed that last week was an extremely busy week for Rochdale's criminals with 55 offences reported.
- 22 Burglary - dwelling
- 14 Burglary - other
- 4 Robbery
- 10 Theft from a vehicle
- 2 Theft of a vehicle
- 3 Drugs offences - one of these was through a positive drugs warrant where a high value of cannabis was discovered within the property.
A police spokesman said: "At the moment two men are in custody for a number of these crimes and officers are working to secure a charge for them.
"If you have any information regarding anything suspicious you may have seen please contact us on the none emergency 101 number or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
