Kym Marsh to sing at Masquerade Ball

Date published: 18 September 2013

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has confirmed she is to sing at a Masquerade Ball at Rochdale Town Hall.

Kym’s accolades include ‘Best TV Soap Personality’, ‘Favourite Actress’ and ‘Celebrity Mum of the Year.’

The Masquerade Ball is being held to raise funds for charity, with proceeds being shared between Springhill Hospice and the domestic violence charitable organisation, Women’s Housing Action Group.

The Ball will mark the launch of ‘Number One Riverside – Giving Back’, a new charity set up by council staff to raise money for local causes.

Deputy Chief Executive and Chairwoman of the Charity, Linda Fisher said: “Masks are optional, the main thing is that people have a good time and help us raise lots of money.

"It promises to be a spectacular evening of entertainment and it’s fabulous that Kym is supporting such a great opportunity to help two very deserving charities.”
