Man wanted in connection with fraud

Police have issued an image of a man wanted in connection with high value fraud.

Hin Ting Ricky Chan, born 2/5/65, is wanted in connection with thefts and frauds amounting to in excess of £200,000.

Chan, originally from Hong Kong, fronted a company called Tristar Services Ltd which rented premises in Middleton. Firms sent a large number of items to the company but, in many cases were not paid.

This company however is actually registered in Reading, Berkshire.

Officers now want to speak to Chan about a number of high value frauds.

Chan has linked to Middleton, Rochdale, as well as Reading. He could also be using an alias.

Anyone with information on Chan's whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 856 8470/20/94 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
