Police investigating rape in town centre
Police are investigating allegations of a rape in Rochdale Town Centre reported at 8.18am this morning (Sunday 8 September).
The area between the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Regal Moon was cordened off this afternoon and police forensics are on the scene.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed the report and the investigation but there are no further details at present.
