All Saints Church on Foxholes Road, Rochdale held a coffee morning and bring and buy sale this morning to raise money for the up keep of the church.
Coffee mornings are held at the church the first Saturday of every month between 10am-12pm.
Kay France, organiser of the event said: “We fund raise for the upkeep of the church and it acts as a social gathering for some of the people who attend.”
All Saints church is a grade II listed building.
Kay added: “We have done a lot of work to the building but the heating can cost a lot so money will go to that and the general upkeep of the building.”
Any money raised would help but organisers hope to have risen between £100 and £120 at the coffee morning.
“The room is full and we welcome anyone to come. We often see people who aren’t from the church come as well so that’s nice,” said Kay.
