The body of the man who fell into Hollingworth Lake early this afternoon has been recovered.

It is understood a group of people with disabilities had been in a boat on the lake when the man fell into the water.
Attempts to rescue the man failed and an emergency rescue boat was summoned to the scene, however, the man had gone under the water.
The Fire Service Water Incident Unit and police took part in an extensive search and an air ambulance was on standby, but the man could not be located, until his body was finally recovered this evening.
