Crime scene investigators at the house on Manchester Road, Hopwood, Heywood
The body of a 44-year old woman was found last night (1 September) at a house on Manchester Road, Hopwood, Heywood.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody for questioning.
Officers attended the address after reports of concern for welfare and found the woman dead at the scene.
The body was found at 10pm and an investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. A home office post morterm examination will take place in due course to ascertain the cause of death.
A 24 year old woman and two men, aged 24 and 64 have been arrested.
