Date published: 01 September 2013

The Rock Choir drew in crowds with two performances at the Feel Good Festival.

The choir performed songs including 'How Deep Is Your Love', 'The Voice' and 'Something Inside So Strong'.

Phil Reynolds, choir leader, said: “This is our first big festival and it’s nice to do something located in Rochdale.”

The choir comprises of people from all over the UK but many of today’s performers came from Rochdale, Littleborough and Middleton.

Rock Choir has been together for eight years and has performed all across the UK, most recently selling out Liverpool Echo Arena and also performed at the NHS awards and the Manchester Theatre awards.

Phil added: “It is nice to play the big places like the Echo Arena but it is also nice to do these kind of festivals as well.”

During their second performance, the choir performed songs by Bon Jovi.

The choir comprises of male and female singers and is open to anybody who loves to sing.
