Attempted robbery at Bamford Post Office

Bamford Post Office was subjected to an attempted robbery this morning (28 August).
A male wearing a balaclava entered the Post Office and demanded money.
During the incident the counter glass was smashed but the offender was not reported to have a weapon.
It is understood no one was injured and the offender left empty handed.
