Burger van burnt out
Date published: 28 August 2013
Dolly P's burger van was burnt out on midnight Sunday. It was parked in New Street, near Butterworth Hall, Milnrow.
A window was smashed and a fire lighter block was thrown in to burn the van.
The fire service attended to put the fire out, and the police were called.
Heather Pomfret, owner of Dolly P's, said: "The van was parked outside my house when it was set alight.
"I feel like a victim, I have no enemies, I don't know why someone has done this to my van. They have taken away my livelihood, it's horrible.
"I am trying to get back up and running as I don't want to let my customers down, I will be back on the road soon."
Police confirmed they are treating the incident as arson and an investigation is ongoing.
