Armed robbery at Middleton newsagents

Two men have escaped with a small amount of cash following an armed robbery at a newsagents in Middleton.
At about 2.35pm today, Friday 11 January, two men entered the shop on Manchester Old Road and pointed a gun at a female member of staff.
The gun, possibly a shotgun, was concealed in a plastic bag.
The woman, aged 52, was forced to kneel down while the men took money from the till before escaping.
The men are described as white, with one believed to be in his 40s, and the other in his 50s.
