Siddal Moor London Trip

Date published: 24 April 2013

A group of 30 students lived it up in London recently when they all embarked on a school trip. The Siddal Moor Students along with staff spent 2 days seeing the sights and visiting the Theatre.

The trip kicked off with a visit to the Hard Rock Café followed by a trip to Buckingham Palace, they rounded off the evening with a trip to the Theatre to see Billy Elliot.

The following day it was a trip, for some, to the Natural History Museum and then a shopping trip to Covent Garden.

A visit to the Pineapple Dance studios saw the students and staff take part in a body Combat Workshop.

Everyone had a great time and the students were a credit to the school. A member of the staff said it was brilliant to see the students enjoying themselves and their reactions to all that they saw and did, although some people did have a fear of travelling on the tube.
