Children from Newlands School feature in a new TV series.
Fans of Cbeebies might have noticed the school and children in a new children’s TV series called ‘Tiny Tumble’. The programme features a small animated version of ‘Mr Tumble’ who can be seen jumping in and out of children’s pictures and using Makaton signs to solve problems.
Some of the artwork for the series was produced by children at Newlands School and Justin Fletcher (who plays Mr Tumble) visited the school in January for two days to film the series.
12 Newlands children and three from co-located school, Hollin Primary, were involved and they can be seen completing art work and signing with Justin in the episodes.
The episodes have been shown on CBeebies daily for the last two weeks (10.55am), with a further run of five episodes to be shown in August.
