St. Martin's Church, Castleton
Easter Service
The whole school will be going to St. Martin’s Church tomorrow (21 March) for our Easter Service at 2pm. We will be leaving school at 1.30pm if any parents would like to join us.
Easter Bingo
Easter Bingo is on tomorrow evening. Come along and enjoy the fun!
Doors open 6pm; eyes down 6.15pm. Entrance (including a drink of juice and a biscuit) – 50p child; £1 adult; £2 family ticket (2 adults + 2/3 children). Books + flyers £1.
There will also be prizes for the best Easter Bonnets for adults and children.
If anyone has any raffle prizes they could donate, we would be very grateful.
Comic Relief
Thank you for your donation we raised £690.00.
St Edwards Youth Club.
The X Factor was a huge success, many thank to all the children that took part.
LEAF week
Children from Parkfield and Brimrod Primary School had a wonderful time handling our animals and completed a recycling activity.
Trips
Years 3 are going to Touchstones Museum in Rochdale on tomorrow.
Drama
Year 3 and 4 have been working very hard on the production of Oliver Twist. Parents have received letter from these classes regarding tickets for the performance next week.

Two of our staffs are leaving by Easter break: Mrs Prince has taking Deputy Headship role in Bolton and Mrs Partington is retiring
Sainsbury Vouchers
We are now collecting these vouchers.
Drop in session
There is a story sac every Tuesdays for Reception class parents between 2.30-3pm. Please feel free to join in.
Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are now due - £11.40. There will be no lessons in the last week of term. Please pay these and any outstanding fees into school as soon as possible before our financial year end. Thank you.
Dinner Money
Next week we are in only 4 days so the dinner money will be £7.40, for children not in arrears.
Dinner money should be paid on a Monday morning in advance in order to continue to receive school meals.
All outstanding money needs to be paid the week before Easter as it is our financial year end and any debts still owing after this time will be sent to the Council for collection.
Next week we are on Week 1 menu.
