Holy Week
Parents are invited to any of or all of the following assemblies at 9am in the school hall.
Foundation Stage Monday morning
Key stage 1 & 2 Tuesday morning
Wednesday morning presentation of attendance and achievement

Easter – end of term
The school will break up for the Easter holidays at 3pm on Wednesday 27 March and return to school on Monday 15 April.

Easter raffle
The Easter raffle will be held on Wednesday afternoon before school closure.

FAST Club
Wednesday 20 March was the last session of FAST club.

Graduation took place in the hall on Wednesday afternoon for all thirty eight families completing the 8 weeks events.

The sessions have been extremely successful and have proved to be beneficial to families.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all families who have taken part and staff members for contributing their time, congratulations to all.

School Council
Community cohesion event – Wednesday 13 March

A community cohesion event was held in the school on Wednesday afternoon with six schools visiting St. John’s for the event; children took part in PE sessions run by Mr Hickman, had a tour of the school and enjoyed refreshments.

RHEMA Theatre delighted the children with an Easter Drama in school on Thursday, 14 March.

The children were told the story of the life of Jesus in a fresh, fun and invigorating way. This was followed by workshops where pupils had the chance to explore the stories and the meaning behind them with Rhema Theatre’s Education Team.

Certificate awards
Awards went to Class 1 for highest attendance.

Golden book awards
The Golden Book awards are for children have tried their best in all areas with politeness and respect.

Class 2: Imaan and Zahra
Class 3: Serena and Jakey
Class 4: Teegan and Oyinda
Class 5: Mercedesz and Michalina

Church news
Masses for St. John’s will be held at 12 noon and 5.30pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday – Palm Sunday.
