Date published: 12 February 2013
Local charities, community clubs and organisations were invited to bid for donations from the Rotary Club of Middleton in November last year.
The Club hands out the proceeds from its annual fundraising to local community groups who applied to the Club's Dragon's Den initiative. The club urged Middleton community groups and organisations to get in touch and apply for cash for their projects.
The successful groups are:
- Middleton Cricket Club Disabled Cricket Team
- Middleton Trampolining Club
- Middleton Amateur Swimming Club
- Springhill Hospice
- Friends of Edgar Wood Centre
- The Ramblers Association
- Home Start
The Rotary Club of Middleton will present the successful applicants with their funding awards over the next few weeks.
