Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 01 December 2012

The children in Year 1 were lucky enough to visit the M6 on Wednesday to see ‘Mavis Sparkle’. In fact, the children in Year 1 received the ‘Citizens of the Week’ award for their superb behaviour – well done Year 1!

Thank you to all of you who came along to Miss Beech’s class assembly on Thursday. It was great to hear about all the learning that has taken place linked to the IPC Celebrations topic – we also loved the Bollywood dancing!

A reminder that we have two vacancies on the Governing Body at present. Nomination forms have been sent out, however, further forms can be obtained from the school office. The role of a School Governer is vital in supporting the school to continue to move forward. We look forward to your applications.

Children’s safety is of paramount importance to us and we request that you do not
drop children off on the pedestrian crossing (or just in front of it) on the main exit road to school in the morning. This is extremely dangerous.
