This Evening and Tonight (Friday 30 November). Dry and cold at first, with areas of fog.
Occasional rain, sleet and snow will move south later, mainly falling as rain or sleet to low-levels, with some snow over hills, leaving a risk of ice generally.
Saturday (1 December)
Any early areas of fog as well as patchy rain, sleet and snow will soon clear southwards to leave a generally fine, cold and sunny day with light winds.
5.00pm Friday 30 November
M62 both ways between M60 [M62 junction 18] and A6046 [M62 junction 19]
Fog and visibility is reduced on M62 between J18, M60 (Simister Island) and J19, A6046 (Heywood)
