Many thanks to all the parents, families and friends who joined us for our show, 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' at Rochdale Sixth Form College this week. Learners from all years participated in the show, from cast to technical crew and rehearsals took place exclusively outside lessons. The show proved a great success and was enjoyed by audiences on both evenings as well as by our primary friends during the day. Thanks to Rochdale Sixth Form College for their tremendous support throughout the production process.

Learners involved in our show were involved in a cast and crew party this week at a restaurant on the 30 November. Well done to all learners involved and we hope you had a nice time; you deserved it!

We welcome All Saints Primary School learners into school on the 10 December as part of a special Indonesian Shadow Puppetry Workshop. All learners will learn about a traditional shadow puppet story and receive a special pack of puppets. For more details, contact Mr De Courcey.

Well done to Kasim Bukhari, Lauren Harden, Zainab Kauser and Faizah Faruque as they were the winners of the recent Narnia Bookmark Competition in the CEPA Faculty. Each winner received chocolate prizes, stationery and a special certificate. Congratulations to all the learners who participated as the standard of entries was very high.

On Tuesday 4 December, we issue a warm welcome to primary friends and community colleagues as we host a special Community Arts Celebration Evening in school. The event will showcase some of our recent community arts events as well as highlight opportunities for 2013. For more details, visit our school website or contact Mr De Courcey.

A special Music Concert is planned for the next few weeks for BTEC Music students. Parents and friends will be invited after school and more details will be issued shortly. For more details, contact the CEPA Office.
