Harvest Festival
Thank you for your overwhelming response to the harvest festival food collection. The food was donated to the Rochdale food bank to be distributed to poor and elderly people in the Rochdale Borough.

Parent-teacher meetings
Thanks for an excellent turn-out for both of our parent-teacher sessions last week. We hope that you found the meetings useful.

Parent View
We welcome you to register with ‘Parent view’ which can be accessed from the Ofsted website and leave your constructive comments about your child’s school.

Car parking news
Many thanks to our Parish Priest Father Chris, who has allowed parents to use the church car park for home time pupil pick-up at 3pm. Parent parking is between ten minutes to three and ten minutes past three, a maximum of twenty minutes. This will ease the congestion on Ann Street enormously.

A letter has been sent home which contains all the information in detail with a map to show how to access the church car park through the one-way system. The church car park is now much larger due to the demolition of the old presbytery and there is direct access to the school site through the gate.

Please keep in mind that this is a privately owned car park and that no responsibility is taken for damage or loss whilst using the facility.

Nursery Autumn Walk
Our nursery children enjoyed a walk in Broadfield Park last week where they learned about seasonal changes.

The leaves and twigs they collected were taken back to nursery and were used by the children to make an autumn collage and talk about their experience.

Bikeability
The children in years 5 ad 6 will be having safer cycling lessons every day this week. They will receive constructive feedback and certificates at the end of the week.

Children’s Liturgy and Sacramental programme
The children’s liturgy at the 9.30am Sunday mass is continuing to cater for the youngsters in church. However we could do with more and all are welcome on a Sunday.

This Sunday (11th November) is a Sacramental programme week when all the children on this year’s Sacramental programme are expected to attend.

Where is Wally?
Last week Wally was in Russia! All children who found out ten facts about the country of the week should have received at least one smiley face sticker.
