'UKIP lying about expenses cash', says Davies
Date published: 26 October 2012

Liberal Democrat MEP Chris Davies has accused UKIP of breaking promises and lying about expenses and allowances from the European Parliament.
In a speech to the European Parliament, Davies, who represents Rochdale, said: “Two years ago Nigel Farage promised complete transparency for the expenses of his MEPs, with statements published and updates quarterly.
“As so often UKIP was lying again.
“Mr Farage’s expense accounts are a complete fabrication, missing most details, entirely unaudited, simply make believe.”
Davies has challenged UKIP to explain where the expenses cash – much of which is paid into personal bank accounts of MEPs – has gone.
