NADRA surgery in Castlemere Community Centre
On Saturday (20 October) National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) staff held a surgery in Castlemere Community Centre, Tweedale Street in which they dealt with 77 applications for the is National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) cards.
Ghulam Rasul Shahzad OBE, Chairman, Action for Pakistan, International, and Castlemere Community Centre have expressed their gratitude to the NADRA Team for their continued support and caring about the members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities and saving their time.
Action for Pakistan, International has also been working on is Digital Pakistani passports.
Mr Shahzad said: "These should be issued at the Consulate General Offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford and Glasgow. It is causing encourmous problems for the elders, women with children, working men and women and people with disabilities as they have to travel to and from their respective towns and cities to London. If these are issued locally at the Consulate Generals' offices, it will solve this problem."
He said he has written to the President, Prime Minister, Minister Responsible for overseas Pakistanis and High Commissioner asking them to look at this issue and solve it as soon as possible.
