Investigation underway after man's body found in a house

At about 5.10pm on Sunday 14 October 2012, police were called to a house on Willows Lane, Milnrow, Rochdale, following reports of a concern for the welfare of the 85-year-old man who lived at the house.
Officers attended and the man was found deceased.
An investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances surrounding his death and a Home Office post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
