The Cellar Project

As part of Anisa’s My World community project she looked at homelessness in Rochdale.

Her original idea was to research the Salvation Army, but due to the closure of the hostel, Anisa looked at another organisation who helped the homeless in Heywood.

The Cellar Project give homeless people the opportunity to have showers, clean clothes, food parcels etc.

Anisa organised a food collection at Matthew Moss High School and presented this collection to Christine Downham-Clarke and Stella Burke at St Joseph’s in Heywood.

As part of Adeeba’s Year 8 My World community project, Adeeba decided she would like to help the local RSPCA Adeeba took photographs of Springfield Park and used them to create a 2013 calendar which she sold to raise funds for the RSPCA.

She presented her cheque for £63.50 to Jean Spencer at the Rochdale Branch.
