Drugs law ruins lives
Date published: 15 October 2012

MEP Chris Davies
Commenting on reports today on the decriminalisation of drug possession, North West Liberal Democrat MEP Chris Davies commented: “Over the decades millions of people have been prosecuted for possession of cannabis, a drug which this report suggests is not substantially more harmful than junk food.
“The law must be changed and cannabis possession decriminalised before any more careers are blighted.
“Sadly, there are no politicians in government who have the courage to speak the truth.”
