The Table Top sale raised £250 for the PTA, thank you to everyone who supported us last Saturday.

All parents should have received a letter about Parents Evenings next week. There is a noticeboard outside the Key Stage 1 area for parents to sign up, Key Stage 2 staff are filling up their lists so if you have not booked a slot please try and do it quickly. The interviews are booked for 5 minutes only, if you need longer we ask that you make an alternative appointment.

Other than Parents Evenings next week is very quiet. This is the week leading up to the half term holiday for Rochdale schools. On Friday 19 the Year 6 children are taking part in a full day of drama with Tony Cox, they will be learning about Shakespeare and have been asked to come to school dressed in black, we will send out a reminder later.
Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday:
Reception: Spencer Sutton
Year 1: Dominic Beardsworth
Year 2: Jack Mercer
Year 3: Raniya Ali
Year 4: Nell Strudwick
Year 5: Samer Quereshi
Year 6: Edan Pollitt

The best attenders were Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 with 98.7% and whole school was 97.5% which is very good.

On Monday the six-a-side football team once again lost in the final at Falinge on Monday night, the curse of the penalty shoot out!

School closes for half term 19 October until Monday 29 October. This is a week before many other schools so please check you have the right days.

Please can all parents make note that dinner money is payable MONDAY morning, late payments create a lot of additional admin work and we are struggling to balance registers.
