Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 05 October 2012

On Tuesday four of our School Councillors from Hamer joined with school Crucial Crew Representatives from other schools at Ashworth Valley Scout Camp for a day of problem solving and team building exercises. It was great for our children to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other children with a common goal in mind. Thank you to Miss Mills for supporting the children throughout the day.

Also our Good Citizens Award for week ending 5 October was awarded to Nabilah Rahman, Aminoor Rahman, Ayesha Razzaq and Tayyub Mohammed who attended the event from Hamer for excellent behaviour and being a credit to the school.

Well done to Mrs Terry’s class for the best attendance for the week ending 28 September.

Thank you to Mrs Connolly’s Class for an extremely informative assembly on Thursday the topic was ‘Water’. Once again our new look invites are working as the hall was packed with parents – thank you for coming. We all particularly enjoyed the beautiful singing.

It was fantastic to see so many parents at school on Thursday morning for the Safety Event put on by the Fire Service and the Road Safety Team. Thanks for all your brilliant feedback and special thanks to Mrs Coward for organising this for us.

Please remember to put any donated Morrison Garden Vouchers in the box in the front school reception area.
