Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity is holding its annual PJ Day on Wednesday 17 October and is calling out to nurseries across Rochdale to join in.
PJ Day is open to nurseries, crèches and playgroups across the region and asks that for every child that wears their pyjamas to nursery a suggested donation of £1 is made by the child’s family and friends.
Registered nurseries will be entered into a free prize draw to win a visit on PJ Day, along with a bumper pack of goodies courtesy of Ryman Stationery. The winning nursery will also be visited by Rhythm Time for a session at a later date.
Angela Harris, Community and Events Fundraising Officer at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity commented: “PJ day is a fun event that requires only a small donation of £1 from each child to take part, but it all adds up to make a real difference to our patients.”
The charity supports Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, which is the biggest children’s hospital in the UK. It helps to provide additional resources that support excellence in treatment, care and research improving the lives of patients.
All nurseries, playgroups and crèches that register, regardless of date, will receive a free PJ day pack which includes stickers, balloons and top tips to make the day a great success.
