The school had its most successful year in the ISA North of England Art Festival.
The highlight was Year 1 winning their photography section with their colourful photographs of insect and plant life in Mandale Park. Their entry now goes forward to the National Finals. In addition Year 2 was runner up in the design section, with their colourful car. The Senior pupils were placed third in three categories Joe Whitfield was third in the painting, Ameer Ali in the sketch book section and Jennifer Garrity in the drawing.
Beech House Under 14s travelled to Oulder Hill to open their RMSFA account on. It was an excellent opening with some good football played by both schools. Beech House opened the scoring through Kingsley Benson who found the top corner after a break from an Oulder Hill corner. The Beech House man of the match Jacob Hill got the second, with an excellent 30 yard finish. Oulder Hill leveled up before half time and they came out quicker after the break. Beech House found themselves 2 - 4 down but Jack Cryer burst through the midfield to score a great goal to leave an exciting finish. Oulder Hill held on and just pipped the Beech House team 3 – 4.
Next day they travelled to Kingsway Park to play an RMSFA league game. Beech House bounced back from the defeat by Oulder Hill with a great 4-1 win over Kingsway Park. The Beech House boys dominated throughout and only conceded through a moment of sloppy defending. The Beech House man of the match was Aston Buckley who played excellently at right back all game. The boys conducted themselves in an excellent manner again and Mr. Hargreaves was extremely happy with the performance. The boys conducted themselves in a good manner and once again did the school, themselves and Mr. Hargreaves proud.
Beech House travelled to St. Annes on a wet Tuesday night to play Football. Beech House gave an excellent account of themselves and were level at half time only for St. Annes to run away with the game in the second half with the eventual score line of 1 - 6. The Beech House man of the match was Jacob Wright who again showed his outstanding commitment towards the school and his performance did not deserve to be on the losing side.
