Donations and fundraising

We can now confirm that the two projects we will be fundraising for in the near future will be a wheelchair roundabout for inclusive play and a `Dipper' hoist to allow wheelchair students the opportunity to access the main swimming pool at the leisure centre complex. All donations the school receives will be put towards these worthy causes! Thank you in advance for your support with this cause.

Local Authority efficiency savings

You may have noticed that the latest set of proposals published by the authority makes particular reference to savings in the budget areas of transport for children with special educational needs and from the Children with Disabilities funding. Clearly Redwood will be entering into discussions with the local authority to establish any implications for our young people and their families.

The article sums up the outstanding provision in the 6th form for work placements and the experiences our students can access. Well done Declan!
