M62 crash: Man charged

A Merseyside man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with a crash on the M62 motorway in Greater Manchester.

Ashfaq Ahmed, 36, from the Bradford area, died in hospital after the five-vehicle crash close to junction 20, near Rochdale on 30 May.

Another man, 27, was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Niall Yeldham, 34, of Valkyrie Road, Wallasey is due before Bury Magistrates' Court on 9 October.
