Adam Kutereba is greeted by family and friends on his return from America
Plucky 9-year old Adam Kutereba, who was born 13 weeks prematurely with life-threatening tetraplegic cerebral palsy, has returned home from his life-changing surgery in America.
Adam's condition affected both of his legs and one arm and he had to crawl to get himself around when he is not in his specially adapted wheelchair. He has had an operation known as a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy which it is hoped will greatly aid his posture and comfort as well as improve his walking ability.
The operation went well and following a short period of recovery, Adam is now home in Littleborough.
